    • Our house participated in a Facebook Live Getting to Know You forum. It was such a blast to interact with fellow neighbors both local and remote! One final remaining question following… is a hot dog a sandwich??? The world may never know.

    • Guard Dante Madrigal joined the Scruffy City Sisters to spread joy and bask in the love of their community in Knoxville and had a blast! Then he proceeded to collapse into his car with aching feet.
  • Blue Ridge Pride 2023

    • Sister Mumu, Sister Lolo, Sister Weatherwax, Guard Dante, and Guard Tyr journeyed down to Asheville, NC to hoot and holler it up with their Asheville Sisters to celebrate everyone! They may be the Beer City, but many of us needed a vodka soda following the festivities.

    • The Little City Sisters flooded downtown Johnson City to show up and show off in the healing rays of rainbows everywhere! From strutting in the parade to photo-ops during the festival, faces were melting in joy! Siblings from Beer City and Scruffy City came to support our very first booth. Cute!

    • We hosted a wonderful bingo fund raiser promoting RISEHFL. We had a blast, though the crowd seemed to not appreciate the ‘O-69’, ‘oh, I-69’ joke for the 520th time.

    • Among so many groups, LCS and Asheville’s Beer City Sisters attended the Pride Community Center’s Pride festival and frolicked among all our queer family.
  • Rally for Rights

    • The Beer City Sisters organized a fabulous rally to support our human rights. Sister Mumu, Sister Tukkas, Sister Divinity, and Guard Dante joined in to aid and support our fellow humans. Though rain fell, a great time was had.

    • For LCS’s premiere Bingo night, all proceeds went to aid our Pride Community Center. Scruffy City Sisters (hey, Knoxville, TN!) were there cheering us on with bad puns and lots of fun.

    • With drag (and trans, and human) rights being threatened, our family joined our community to fight for our right to express ourselves and then be seen AND heard. Hosted at ETSU’s Martin Center for the Arts, our hearts welled with love as we all came together and witnessed just how much we are needed in our community.
